Forget any outdated stereotypes you may have of all-inclusive hotels and resorts. Today’s meeting groups expect elevated, all-inclusive experiences that are customizable on-property as well as cultural excursions that allow guests to venture off property and dig deeper into the destination.
Delivering on those expectations is Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection’s trio of all-inclusive resorts in Cancún: Live Aqua Cancún, Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún All Inclusive and Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancún All Inclusive.
At these resorts, meeting planners can work with the on-property teams to customize authentic experiences. During cooking classes, for example, attendees learn how to make traditional Mexican dishes like ceviches and salsas. Curated tequila tastings explore the history of Mexico’s popular agave spirit, while diving into the differences between expressions like blancos, reposados and añejos. Meetings and incentive groups are also encouraged to explore the Yucatán Peninsula’s rich Mayan culture and traditions during an off-property excursion.
While all three of the Cancún all-inclusives in the collection provide uniquely different experiences for guests, each of these Mexican-owned hotels share the same brand of exceptional hospitality—which helps explain why 80% of meeting groups are return guests to the portfolio’s hotels. Some boomerang back to the same property, explains David Manzella, the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Posadas, while others are excited to explore a different resort with each visit.
“Each hotel takes on its own life, and the general managers do a great job with different theming and privatized events,” Manzella says. “Yet there’s the same warm, Mexican hospitality across all of the hotels.”

Elevated Experiences at Top Cancun All-Inclusive Hotels
Those meeting at Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection’s Cancún properties have a chance to enjoy an authentic Quintana Roo experience: Beachfront properties put guests close to Cancún’s famous beaches and live entertainment features Mayan dance traditions and music from local artists.
Live Aqua Cancún, the group’s lifestyle hotel, is known for engaging the senses, complete with an aromatherapy package that’s woven into guests’ turn down services. The hotel features seven infinity pools, each with varying temperatures, and meeting attendees can set the tone for their day with yoga classes and meditations.
For a special dinner, groups at Live Aqua Cancún can gather at Carnivore, a fine dining steakhouse that’s wrapped in glass windows and shows off the lush surroundings. A violinist or perhaps a quartet provide the soundtrack for an elegant 12-course meal.
Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún All Inclusive is a luxury, all-suite hotel, where all accommodations are either ocean view or oceanfront. The energetic lobby features bands and earlier this year, the resort opened three new gorgeous restaurants: Chianti Trattoria Italiana, an Italian restaurant; Torii - The Pacific Rim, an Asian-fusion restaurant with a sushi bar; and Havana Club Steak House & Lounge, which is an Argentinian-Mexican steakhouse that feels like a supper club.
A buyout of the Gem Spa at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach All Inclusive is a unique option for incentive trips. The customized, guided experience starts with a 10-step hydrotherapy circuit that includes an aromatherapy steam room with eucalyptus oils, a clay steam room, an ice room and contrasting waters with warm and cool temperatures and varying water pressures. Afterwards, guests can enjoy a dinner—the dress code is a bathrobe and slippers—and enjoy live music as the spa’s high ceilings are great for acoustics.
At Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancún All Inclusive, meeting guests enjoy a traditional Mexican hotel with a modern twist. Picture palapas on the white-sand beach, palm-lined walkways and lush, tropical vegetation, as well as vibrant, colorful art and pools that look out at the Caribbean.
Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancún All Inclusive also recently debuted new meeting spaces, which includes a theater. Three dozen new plunge pool rooms on the hotel’s first level provide an upgraded stay.
Exploring Cancun: Visiting Ruins, Cenotes and Jetting Off to Islands
A jewel of the Caribbean, Cancún needs no further introduction as a popular tourist destination. The Yucatan Peninsula beckons with its sunny skies and turquoise waters that lap the white-sand beaches. But the destination has also emerged as a top meeting and incentive destination, thanks to its gorgeous landscapes, luxury accommodations, and favorable exchange rates.
“Cancun is an exceptional destination for groups, offering a perfect blend of stunning natural beauty, convenient amenities, and immersive activities,” says Ximena Lopez, Regional Sales and Experience Director with Connect DMC, an ALHI partner. “Surrounded by rich Mayan culture and the vibrant flavors of Mexican cuisine, Cancun provides a captivating experience with something for every taste.”
From spa treatments to pools to live entertainment and interactive, teambuilding classes, groups at Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection’s Cancún properties will find plenty to do on property. Adding an off-property excursion to explore the area’s gorgeous scenery and rich Mayan history, though, is a perfect way to round out itineraries and make the trip stand out.
One of the top outings for groups are Mayan ruin tours, says Manzella, which helps attendees get a deeper understanding of the region’s rich history and culture. Groups can explore Chichén Itzá, an ancient Mayan archaeological site that’s considered to be among the “New 7 Wonders of the World.” The site is important because it was considered the economic center of the Mayan civilization between 750 and 1200 A.D. During tours of the sites, visitors can see the site’s 20 some buildings, which include ancient temples, a ball court and El Castillo, the 79-foot stone pyramid.
Another thing that makes the region unique? Hundreds of cenotes are clustered in the Yucatán Peninsula. Cenotes are underground caves or deep-water wells, and they were used by Mayans for spiritual ceremonies. Each cenote has distinct features, from crystal clear waters to hidden underwater caves, Lopez says. Now, many of these scenic swimming holes are open for tours and visitors can swim and snorkel in the refreshing waters, or even zipline, kayak, cliff jump or go rappelling with some assistance, she says. Afterwards, enjoy lunch in the jungle.
Or, groups can go on a speedboat tour through the Nichupté Lagoon, a scenic nature preserve that shows off the beauty of the Mexican Caribbean, Lopez says. During the tour, meeting groups can learn about the Mayan culture and enjoy local Mexican cuisine.
Groups can also get out on the water on a yacht or sailboat to explore nearby islands like Isla Mujeres. The scenic island once served as a sanctuary for Ixchel, a Mayan goddess of happiness among other virtues. This picture-perfect island in the Caribbean is a great place to swim in the tranquil waters or enjoy a meal in the boat.
One of these local excursions, combined with the authentic experiences on-property at a Fiesta Americana Travelty Collection property, are sure to provide meeting guests with a memorable experience in Mexico.
